Dribbling past an opponent
When an opponent is standing in your way, you can get past them together with the ball - it’s called dribbling. Change direction right in front of them, speed up, and run on.
It doesn’t have to work the first time. The best footballers in the world tried it thousands of times before it clicked.
What do you do? Set something on the grass to be your opponent - a shoe or a pine cone works - and try to get past it with the ball at your feet.
